Ranked list — replaces the source's donut
The source encoded five categories with a single-hue violet ramp. That is a sequential
scale doing a categorical job — two of five slices were literally the same colour, and the ramp fails
normal-vision separation at ΔE 3.9 against a floor of 15. A ranked bar list needs no categorical
palette at all: identity comes from the label.
